FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Where is H2R located? The
track is located in
San Marcos, Texas. Just take What can I run? H2R members will be restricted to driving street legal, licensed, insured and inspected cars that meet our noise limits. What does it cost? To hold a membership slot, you must register at our online store and use a check or credit card to pay $900 (a one-time membership fee) and a $1,500 fully refundable damage deposit. To remain an H2R member, you must pay dues of $90/month and you will be required to purchase at least two four-hour sessions per quarter. On weekdays these will cost $100 each ($200/quarter), and on weekends each four-hour session is $150 ($300/quarter). If you would prefer to pay via check or money order, please contact us via e-mail or telephone. So, a member who wishes to keep costs to a minimum will pay $2,400 at sign-up ($1,500 of which is fully refundable). After that, annual costs of $1,880 will allow them 32 hours of actual (weekday) track time. If I quit, will I get my money back? Assuming you have done no damage to the club or another member, you will get your $1,500 deposit back, however the $900 membership fee is nonrefundable. How does it work? Any member can book a four-hour track session (9am-1pm or 2pm-6pm daily except Wednesdays) via phone or Internet, on a first-come, first-served basis. A maximum of 30 cars will be allowed on the track during each four-hour session. You can book back-to-back sessions if you want to spend the whole day at H2R. The track is open to everyone who signed up during the entire session, so the timing and duration of any breaks/pit stops/phone calls (no cell phones on course) is entirely up to the driver. How many laps will I get? Our goal is for you to arrive with a full tank and leave with an empty one. The actual number of laps you are able to drive depends on you and your car. If I sign up, can my family and friends drive, too? Yes and no. Family and friends cannot drive on regular track days. But, H2R will have many special events that will allow your friends and family to drive on the course. On regular track days, anyone you bring along is welcome to ride with you, as long as they have signed our waiver and have appropriate safety equipment. | MORE
